Who Are the Parties to An AutoSettle Transaction?

Every AutoSettle transaction involves two key parties: a Seller and a Buyer.

Either party can initiate a vehicle purchase.

A Seller may also choose to invite one or more Buyers to make an offer or proceed with a purchase.

Who can participate?

To help keep transactions safe and reliable, both Buyers and Sellers must meet a few simple requirements:
  1. Be 18 years of age or older
  2. Have an Australian-issued mobile number (prefixed with a +61) that can receive SMS messages
  3. Have an Australian bank account to send and receive funds
  4. Hold a valid physical Australian drivers licence 
These checks help us confirm identity and protect everyone involved.

Additional requirements for Sellers

Sellers must also be offering an eligible vehicle that meets AutoSettle’s verification requirements.

This allows us to complete the necessary checks before funds are released.
